Different from traditional corporate learning and development departments or academic degree programs, learning businesses serve the global market for adult lifelong learning, continuing education, and professional development. They may be either nonprofit or commercial and they include associations and other membership organizations, publishers, academic continuing education divisions, training firms, and solo edupreneurs, among a range of other possibilities.

Learning Revolution is a resource site for solo edupreneurs and small businesses seeking to launch and grow an education business, online or off.
Since 2016, we have hosted Learning • Technology • Design™ (LTD). Originally a face-to-face event, we’ve transformed it into an annual virtual conference designed specifically for those who work in the business of lifelong learning, continuing education, and professional development. More recently, we introduced Live Review, an online event to provide easy, efficient, affordable access to demonstrations of platforms that are a good fit for market-facing learning businesses.
