Tagoras – Leading Learning Privacy Policy

1. Personally Identifiable Information

This refers to information that lets us know who you are or things specifically about you. When you sign up for a Tagoras e-mail list or register for a Tagoras event, we will collect Personally Identifiable Information (such as name, address, email address and telephone number). We may use your Personally Identifiable Information to provide you with information about the services Tagoras provides and about the events for which you have registered.

2. Sharing Your Information

We make e-mails addresses collected as part of the Webinars we offer available for a single e-mailing, with a clear opt-out provision, to sponsors of our Webinars. Sponsors of our face-to-face events (e.g., the Leading Learning Symposium, Learning * Technology * Design) receive an attendee list with postal mailing addresses. Aside from these two specific situations, we do not sell, trade, or rent any Personally Identifiable Information to any commercial entity.

3. Accessing and Correcting Your Information

We take reasonable measures to ensure that any Personally Identifiable Information we collect is accurate, current and reliable for its intended use. If you wish to update or correct Personally Identifiable Information provided to us, you should notify us at support@tagoras.com. We acknowledge your trust and are committed to taking reasonable steps to protect Personally Identifiable Information you provide from loss, misuse or unauthorized access. It is your responsibility to safeguard any usernames and passwords you may create when accessing sites owned Tagoras. We ask that you promptly notify us at support@tagoras.com if you suspect that any usernames and passwords have been compromised.

4. Use of Cookies

Tagoras does not use ‘cookies’ in any of the Web sites that it owns, but it is possible that vendors with which Tagoras contracts for event registration and other services do make use of cookies in their Web sites and other software applications. Cookies are small text files a website can use to recognize repeat users and facilitate the user’s access and use of the site or to collect information on users.

5. Links to Other Sites

Users will find links to other web pages within sites owned by Tagoras web pages. These third party sites may have their own privacy policy or no policy at all. The Tagoras privacy policy does not apply to such sites and has no control over nor is responsible for the content displayed on those sites.

Personal information of those who register for Tagoras events through Cvent Inc. is ensured. Cvent abides by the Safe Harbor Principles developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission in collecting, using and disclosing personal information.
