If you work for a nonprofit membership organization, we need your help. We just launched the survey that will form the basis for our upcoming 2013 Association Learning + Technology report, due out by year end.
The purpose of the survey (and ultimately the report) is to better understand how associations are and aren’t using technology to deliver educational products and services. Your participation is very important—even if you do not currently use or plan to use technology to deliver or enhance your learning products and regardless of the size or budget of your association.
How You Can Help
You can help two ways:
It should take no more than 10 minutes to complete, and, depending on your answers, may take only a couple of minutes.
- Spread the word.
Point your association colleagues who work in continuing education and professional development to the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NBV3NBM.
What’s in It for You
We’re going to appeal to your altruistic side and your selfish side. 😉
- Contribute to research that will help you see how your organization stacks up to others in the association world in terms of the use of technology to enable and enhance learning.
We’ve issued this report twice in the past, but we revamped the survey this year to home in on the topics we’ve heard are most important to association professionals. To get an idea of the type of information you’ll get from the report that will come out of this survey, see our 2011 Association + Technology report, which we’re now offering as a free incentive to folks who subscribe to our Leading Learning e-newsletter. Thanks to Peach New Media’s kind sponsorship, the 2013 report will also be free, once it’s ready.
- A chance to win
After completing the survey, you can register to be entered in a drawing for one of three Amazon gift cards worth $100 (enough for Kindle) that we will give away to three randomly selected survey participants.
Thanks for your help!
P.S. If you’re waiting with bated breath for the new Speaker Report, go ahead and inhale and exhale. We’re tantalizingly close to wrapping it up, but aren’t quite ready to release it. We’ll let you know, though, as soon as we are.
