Who we are
Tagoras was founded by Jeff Cobb and Celisa Steele, seasoned Web entrepreneurs with a unique blend of experience in marketing, technology, and education. For more than a decade, Steele and Cobb have helped trade and professional associations, training firms, and channel sales organizations leverage online learning to grow revenues and engage customers. Their clients have included major organizations and initiatives such as the Society for Human Resource Management, the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the London Business School, ChannelAdvisor, Cisco, PBS Adult Learning Services, and WebJunction, an initiative of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Together, they published Learning 2.0 for Associations, the first overview of how social media is transforming continuing education. In 2009, they researched and co-wrote Association E-learning: State of the Sector and Association Learning Management Systems, two of the most comprehensive reports available on e-learning in the association sector.
