Leading Learning
Leading Learning is a quarterly breakfast event in Washington, DC where association executives and their staff can learn about how technology is impacting education business models. Each session blends structured content from association leaders and industry experts with dynamic, facilitated dialogue among attendees. Our next event “The Social Learning Imperative” will take place August 26. Find out more and register for the event >>
Leading Learning Background
As a result of our ongoing research in the association sector and our day-to-day interaction with people leading association education programs, we have found that the opportunities for networking with peers and learning about new trends is limited. In 2009, we began hosting a series of occasional lunches in Washington, DC, for association education professionals, but it became clear over time that a more structured and consistent effort would be valuable. So, Leading Learning is our effort to create an opportunity for association leaders to come together quarterly, learn from each other, and also hear from industry experts and thought leaders. Our next session, The Social Learning Imperative with ASTD President Tony Bingham will take place on August 26:
Who Should Attend Leading Learning?
Leading Learning sessions are intended for staff of membership organizations. If you work for an association or non-profit, and are someone who helps to lead the learning initiatives offered by your organization, this event is for you. The session will be geared toward executives and their staff who are responsible for executing the organization’s education strategy.
The Leading Learning Edge
There is no longer the slightest doubt that technology will transform the way that associations deliver education and events. If you are always looking for the best options for delivering educational value to your membership base, Leading Learning is the place to find out about the latest development, get innovative ideas, and challenge yourself to take your educational initiatives to new levels.
