This is the seventh installment in our series of interviews with learning management system (LMS) providers, and we have about another half dozen to go. In this one I talk with Mark Lambertson, Vice President of Client Services and Association Sales at LearnSomething. Among the companies that participated in our Association Learning Management Systems report, LearnSomething holds the distinction of offering two different LMS platforms: LearnPro Plus and Isoph Blue.
In the interview, Mark offers his thoughts on the role of learning management systems in relation to association management systems (AMS) as well as to learning content management systems (LCMS). As in earlier interviews, we also touch on the direction in which e-learning is headed. Mark points to areas like self-assessment and support of certification programs, but contends that the number one area in which LMSes need to improve is support for marketing.
To hear more of what Mark has to say you can download the audio clip or use the player below to play it right here on the site. The interview is about 13 minutes long.
