In this latest installment of interviews with learning management system (LMS) providers, I speak with Johnson Cook, Chief Operating Officer of Peach New Media, makers of the Freestone platform.
One of the things that sparked my interest in Peach back when I was working on the Association Learning Management Systems report is that the company seemed to be really focused on building out more traditional learning management capabilities around the Webinar and event content approaches that are such a mainstay of association online education. They also emphasize a “community” approach to learning – something we touch on in our conversation.
Aside from community, Johnson also stresses – as have other interviewees – the importance of good planning and marketing to e-learning success and offers a number of case studies and tips that I think listeners will find useful.
