This is the third in a series of interviews I am conducting with companies that participated in the Tagoras Association Learning Management Systems report. In this one, I speak with Jack McGrath, President of Digitec Interactive, the company behind the KnowledgeDirect LMS.
As I’ve noted before, these interviews are not intended to be sales pitches. I give each guest the opportunity to talk about his company’s value proposition – I think it is useful to hear this “straight from the horses mouth” – but then we move on to topics that should of interest even to listeners who may not be looking for e-learning products and services.
In this case, Jack highlights the importance of understanding business drivers when implementing association e-learning initiatives and stresses the role of valid use cases as opposed to feature laundry lists when selecting technology. That’s just the tip of the iceberg – there are also good thoughts in here about social media and where e-learning is headed.
